style=\"font-weight: 400;\">30 min bus + 45h walk on a trail or 1h river trace.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How to get there?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From anywhere in Taipei<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to Xindian MRT station (Green line).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get out at the only exit and go to the right to reach to bus stop that is on the big street.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take the bus 849 to Wulai.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stop at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/ConwSpfbM214GTuD7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chenggong<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From there you have two choices:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Walk on a trail:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On your left before the bridge you will see some stairs. This is the trailhead to get to get to waterslide. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Walk for about 45 min to one hour. A<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t this point you should reach a part of the trail where it gets wider, there is a bench made of plastic tubes on the right and the trails continues making a turn to the left, \u00a0with a small temple right after the turn.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-566 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.myroomabroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/vinc-shows-the-way-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Person showing a trail\" width=\"502\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myroomabroad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/vinc-shows-the-way-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myroomabroad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/vinc-shows-the-way-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/myroomabroad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/vinc-shows-the-way-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 502px) 100vw, 502px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you are next to the bench, look on your right for a way down inside the forest\u00a0 (it is directly after the bench like pointed by the beautiful guy on the picture). <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note that this part gets quite steep.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will reach the wide waterslide,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you have the go down the river a bit to find the narrow one.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It hides behind some huge rocks that sometimes seem impossible to cross, but just keep going!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>River trace:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the right of the stairs for the trail, there is a small passage you can take to reach the river, this is where you go if you want to river trace to the waterslide. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It takes about 1h to 1h15 to the waterslide. You normally don&#8217;t<\/span>\u00a0have to swim and and should not have water higher than to your thighs.\u00a0But this of course depends on the rain fall of the past day.\u00a0A dry bag is still recommended though or at least put your phone and important items into a ziplog bag to protect them in case of a fall :).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just follow the river until you actually see this \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-570 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.myroomabroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/wulai-waterslide-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"374\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myroomabroad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/wulai-waterslide-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/myroomabroad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/wulai-waterslide-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/myroomabroad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/wulai-waterslide-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if you want to go to the wide waterslide follow the river up keeping your left.
